Lowden WL25 Cedar Rosewood
The popularity of the Wee Lowden is growing, and not without reason! These Wee Lowdens are almost unbelievable when it comes to sound and looks. Most people are pleasantly surprised when they find out how much sound this little instrument can produce!
With the Lowden's Original Series, George Lowden has proven himself as a skilled luthier who has much more to offer. This Wee Lowden, as part of the 25 series, has a body made of Indian rosewood, combined with a Red cedar top. The guitar is equipped with beautiful mahogany binding, wooden edge inlays and rosette, which makes the craftsmanship drip off, but it also remains a modest and natural-looking guitar.
The sound is very full, balanced and can be very loud, but remains very dynamic. It is almost unbelievable that so much low comes from this small instrument. The midrange is also present and the whole is rounded off with a defined and clear high. The playability is also very good thanks to the GL Standard neck profile of the five-piece neck made of mahogany and rosewood. The ebony fingerboard and rosewood headstock provide a luxurious look, and the gold-colored Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons are the icing on the cake!
The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in a Hiscox hardshell case.
