Taylor 314ce Studio Shaded Edgeburst
As one of Taylor's most popular models, the 314ce Studio offers a signature Taylor experience with all-solid tonewoods and a satisfying playing feel.
For decades, the sapele-backed, spruce-top Grand Auditorium 314ce has been a favorite among guitarists for its workhorse sound and the rich tone of its all-solid wood body. With the new 314ce Studio, Taylor has refined the design to bring it to a more attractive price point and give it an aesthetic refresh.
The 314ce features acclaimed V-Class bracing, a revolutionary innovation in acoustic sound that responds with greater musicality and harmonic harmony. By introducing a more ordered vibration into the guitar’s top, V-Class increases sustain and volume to give players a more dynamic voice to explore, while also solving minor intonation issues that players have long struggled with.
Notable differences from the regular model include a torrefied spruce top, beveled body edges with black and white purfling, a full gloss body, 42.9mm nut width, 4mm Italian acrylic dot fingerboard inlays, and a tortoiseshell pickguard. Like the standard 314ce, this model has a 3-ring black rosette and Taylor nickel tuners, and comes with built-in ES2 electronics. The addition of a structured gig bag makes for easy transportation.
