A Goldtop Les Paul is already a beautiful guitar, but according to our own Coen, it can always be even better! That's why he designed this Les Paul through the Made to Measure program, with a gold body and neck as well. And to top it all off, he gave the guitar two racing stripes in British Racing Green. Don't hesitate too long, because we only had three of these built!

With its sonic punch, smooth playability, and classic Les Paul features, the 1956 Les Paul showcases both elegance and raw power. Like the original Les Paul, it features a solid one-piece mahogany body with a carved top, delivering warmth and midrange unlike any other maple-topped Les Paul. 1956 was also the only full year the Les Paul featured the powerful P90 pickups and the adjustable ABR-1 bridge setup, a combination that gave the Les Paul a level of intonation, sustain, and feel unlike anything else before.

As icing on the cake, the gold finish is also Heavy Aged by the skilled artisans at Murphy Lab. Combined with aged hardware, the Murphy Lab Heavy Aged treatment simulates decades of wear and tear, giving the guitar the unique character, vibe, and feel of an original from the Gibson Golden Era.
