Robin Baard specializes in building custom bass guitars, crafting each bass from start to finish in his Rotterdam workshop. He offers several models, all based on bass guitars that have achieved legendary status. Robin can fully customize a bass guitar to your specifications, but there's naturally a waiting list. The Anchor is an interpretation of the beloved Precision Bass, but Robin has given it his own unique twist. He's no stranger to a challenge when it comes to finishing, giving this Anchor a dazzling 3-Tone Sparkle finish. Combined with the aluminum pickguard and roasted maple neck, this results in a bass with a unique look, and you'll undoubtedly steal the show with this Anchor!

Because a bass shouldn't just look good but also sound good, Robin opted for a Lollar Split Coil pickup. The pickup is reverse-mounted, resulting in a more balanced sound. This makes the E and A strings less muddy, while the D and G strings gain a bit more body. The bass, built in 2025, has a lacquer chip at the neck joint, along with a repaired crack in the headstock near the E-string tuner.

The bass comes with a TFOA passport and comes in a Reunion Blues RBX gig bag.
