This Gibson F5G mandolin meets the highest standards. It comes from the Gibson Custom Shop and was crafted under the supervision of David W. Harvey, who has signed the label inside. The same standards applied to the F5L are also used for the F5G, with carefully selected premium materials and impeccable craftsmanship.

The mandolin features a flamed maple body with a walnut stain, paired with a Sitka spruce top finished in a beautiful sunburst. These materials provide the renowned woody tone that is so characteristic of Gibson mandolins.

Notable are the refined details, such as the subtle flame on the sides of the headstock, highlighting the craftsmanship and aesthetics of this Custom Shop model.

As part of the Gibson Custom Shop, this F5G also includes several special features. The fingerboard has a 12-inch radius and large frets for enhanced playability. Thanks to its exceptional tone and playability, this mandolin is ideally suited for both recording and live sessions. It comes with a case and TFOA passport.
