Fender Nate Mendel Precision Bass Candy Apple Red Light Aged 2017
A signature Precision Bass inspired by one of modern rock’s most solid foundations. The Nate Mendel P Bass captures the look, feel and punch of his trusted 1971 original. Finished in Candy Apple Red and built to deliver focused, powerful bass tones.
Throughout a career that began in hardcore punk and continued with Sunny Day Real Estate and the Foo Fighters, Nate Mendel has relied on one main instrument for his melodic yet powerful bass work, a 1971 Precision Bass. The Nate Mendel P Bass is modeled after his well worn original and captures its subtly distinctive character.
Finished in Candy Apple Red, this model features the special body contours and extra slim neck profile that define Mendel’s instrument. A lightly worn factory finish and a powerful Seymour Duncan pickup complete the formula, delivering the focused punch and clarity expected from a classic Precision Bass design.
This example is in excellent condition. As with any factory aged instrument, it can be difficult to distinguish between original Fender aging and player wear, but the bass remains very clean overall.
