Fender Limited Edition American Vintage II 1951 Telecaster Black
The Fender American Vintage II series offers a remarkably accurate representation of the revolutionary designs that changed the course of music history.
Built with authentic bodies, necks, and hardware from that period, premium finishes, and carefully matched, year-specific pickups, each instrument captures the essence of authentic Fender craftsmanship and tone.
Just one year after the launch of the Broadcaster, Fender received a cease-and-desist letter from Fred Gretsch Mfg. Co., forcing the company to rename its flagship electric guitar. Inspired by the explosive growth and reach of television, the first Telecaster with a black pickguard rolled off the production line in 1951, and the model has been in continuous production ever since. Deceptively simple and utterly groundbreaking, the Telecaster brought the solid-body electric guitar within reach of the masses and inspired countless musicians.
The guitar comes with a TFOA passport and comes in a Fender tweed hardshell case.
