Strongly vintage-inspired, the body construction has been completely re-engineered, including new bracing carves and patterns. When combined with Collings latest T-Series neck design and unique CJ-45 neck profile, the result showcases a tone that is exceptionally dry and fundamental with the growl and thump sought in the great slope-shoulder dreads of the Wartime era.

CJ45 T is a Traditional build with a fundamental-focused tone featuring Honduran mahogany back and sides, non-grained ivoroid body binding with no purfling, no binding on the fingerboard and peghead, a fully-exposed rosette, East Indian rosewood fingerboard with ebony straight bridge, shorter 24 7/8″ scale length, and Wartime scalloped X-bracing.

Apart from a small dent and a scratch on the underside of the body, this 2022 model is in exceptional condition. The guitar was originally fitted with a long saddle, but the ends of the slot have been padded for the use of a drop-in saddle.
