Tone King Imperial MKII Black Combo
With the Imperial MKII, Tone King has launched a versatile amplifier on the market; sounds varying from clean 'blackface' to gritty 'tweed' are possible.
With the Imperial MKII, Tone King has launched a versatile amplifier on the market. From the clear blackface-style tones to the grittiness of a tweed model, almost nothing is beyond the possibilities of this amp. Because this Combo is equipped with a 12" Eminence speaker specially designed for Tone King, the sound of the amplifier is optimally reproduced.
The channels of the amplifier can be changed with the included foot switch; the 'Rhythm' channel gives a crystal clear sound, while the Lead-channel gives more mids and sustain. This option gives the amplifier two distinctive characters. Thanks to the built-in attenuator, the Imperial MKII can also be used overdriven at lower volumes.
Furthermore, the amplifier is equipped with spring reverb and a tremolo. The housing is made of Baltic birch plywood and has a stylish Tolex coating. This gives an Imperial MKII the look of a classic amp, but with modern quality and features.
