Rozawood Resophonic Roundneck Resonator American Walnut 2014

The Rozawood workshop is the vision of luthier Roman Zajicek, known as one of Europe's finest guitar makers. His instruments are renowned for their impressive tone and impeccable finish.

This Rozawood Resophonic Roundneck Resonator is a uniquely designed resonator guitar where craftsmanship, choice of materials, and tone are paramount. Built by Rozawood and crafted from solid American walnut, this instrument exudes a warm, organic feel that perfectly complements its rootsy character. The natural satin nitrocellulose finish allows the wood to resonate freely and emphasizes the beautiful grain of both body and top.

The sound is shaped by a classic biscuit bridge construction with a sieve coverplate, which provides a direct attack, clear projection, and a pronounced midrange. This makes the guitar particularly suitable for blues, slide, and old-time styles, as well as for fingerstyle players seeking definition and character. The American walnut roundneck has a comfortably soft V-profile and feels solid and familiar, with an ebony fingerboard that plays smoothly and is beautifully finished with abalone dot inlays and brown pearloid binding. With its Gotoh open-gear tuners, chrome tailpiece, and meticulous detailing, this Rozawood is not only an instrument to play but also to admire.

This Rozawood was built in 2014 and is in excellent condition. The guitar's finish has whitened in several places, the result of moisture under the finish. The neck has been reattached to improve the neck angle, and the fingerboard end has also been reglued. The guitar is otherwise free of damage and comes with a TFOA passport in a Hiscox hardshell case.
