This guitar is the result of a wonderful collaboration between Roman Zajicek and Rudi Bults, long-time guitar friends, one a luthier, the other a founder of the Fellowship of Acoustics!

The foundation for this project was a deep desire to build a guitar of the highest caliber; a guitar that could compete with big names like Collings and Santa Cruz, but also hold its own against renowned guitar makers like Wayne Henderson and Blazer & Henkes. A considerable challenge that Roman and Rudi embraced with great enthusiasm!

Inspired by the renowned D28 and drawing on their years of combined experience with all those exceptional guitars, this dreadnought incorporates many of the features that made it so great. For example, the full, yet exceptionally clear tone is produced by the combination of rosewood and spruce, and the scalloped X-bracing under the top. The herringbone purfling, Diamonds & Squares fingerboard inlays, and Torch headstock inlay complete the vintage-inspired look!

The guitar was built in 2014 and is in excellent condition. The guitar has some light playwear and very minor dings, but has a white haze on the back and sides of the body and the front and back of the headstock, caused by moisture under the finish. The guitar is otherwise very clean and comes in a hardshell case with a TFOA passport.
