PRS Custom 24 Charcoal Burst
If you’re looking for classic PRS playability, reliability, and tone with ultimate flexibility and a beautiful flamed top, check out the Custom 24-08 in Charcoal!
The Custom 24 is PRS’ flagship, the iconic instrument that started it all in 1985. The Custom 24-08 shares the same fundamental specs as the original Custom, including a maple top, mahogany body and neck, 24 frets, 25” scale, and PRS’ patented Gen III tremolo, but adds a new level of versatility with its DMO pickups and intuitive switching system.
With mini-toggle coil split switches, the Custom 24-08 has eight different pickup settings that offer a range of humbucking and single-coil tones, including a dual single-coil option that is unique to this model.
PRS Guitars has also updated the tuning mechanisms on many of the Core guitars. Although aesthetically designed as an echo of the 12th fret bird design, the new Wing knobs were designed first and foremost for tonal reasons, all the way back in 1982. Because these knobs are lighter than their metal predecessors, they draw less energy from the vibrating strings, making the guitar sound longer and more musical.
It comes in a hardshell case with a TFOA passport.
