Nobels ODR-1BC

This smooth and veelzijdige overdrive is able to give any guitar sound that extra something, and it has been part of the arsenal of many professional guitarists for decades!

The Nobels ODR-1 has been an important part of the arsenal of influential guitarists such as Jerry Donahue, Tom Bukovac, Tim Pierce and Robbie McIntosh over the decades. It's an overdrive that works well with both single-coils and humbuckers, and is even used by bass players for its clarity and versatility.

However, for some guitarists the sound was up to the heavy side, which is why Nobels placed the Bass Cut-Switch under the battery cover. This switch gives the user the choice between the original ODR-1 sound or a sound with reduced sub-bass response.

The ODR-1 works very closely with the volume of the guitar, making subtle changes in tone easy to achieve. The tonal range of the pedal is controlled by the Spectrum knob which boosts bass and treble simultaneously, but leaves the mids untouched. This keeps the sound transparent but warm.

The pedal obviously works on 9V, but also operates on 18V, which gives the pedal more headroom. For good visibility on stage, the control buttons are provided with Glow in the Dark. The solid metal housing ensures that you can enjoy this pedal for decades, just like the big names!
