The AG is the newest addition to McIlroy's lineup! This AG76 is actually the very first one McIlroy ever built, and with its Italian spruce top and Amazon rosewood body, it is a guitar that sounds just as beautiful as it looks!

The model is based on the existing A-series, a medium-sized Jumbo also known as the Auditorium guitar. Compared to this model, the AG is about 7 mm thinner but has the same body outline as the A. This makes the AG even more comfortable to play, without compromising on the low end.

The Italian spruce top is accompanied by beautifully figured Amazon rosewood back and sides, with ebony binding and the purfling of maple, ebony, and Santos rosewood providing the detailing. The rosette consists of rosewood, maple, and Paua abalone, adding extra elegance to the body. The five-piece neck is made of mahogany, maple, and rosewood, and features an ebony fingerboard and headstock. Here too, the beautiful finish is striking; maple purfling is visible on the fingerboard and headstock, while the 12th fret is adorned with a beautiful abalone Celtic knot inlay.

This McIlroy was built in 2024 and is virtually indistinguishable from a new guitar. The neck finish is slightly shinier than it originally was due to play, and two very tiny scratches can be found on the top of the headstock. The guitar comes with a certificate of authenticity in a Hiscox case.
