This Martin Custom Shop 0045 is an extraordinary instrument that combines the timeless elegance of Martin’s legendary Style 45 with the intimate experience of the 00 format. Crafted exclusively in the Custom Shop in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, this guitar is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and tonewoods.
At the heart of this guitar is a beautiful combination of Guatemalan rosewood for the back and sides and Italian Alpine spruce for the top. These rare woods were carefully selected for their exceptional acoustic qualities. The Guatemalan rosewood offers a rich, complex response with beautiful overtones and impressive sustain, while the Alpine spruce provides a direct response, crystal-clear articulation, and a dynamic range that fingerstyle players will adore.
