Lollar P90 Soapbar Bridge Black 50s Wind
The Lollar 50s Wind P-90 bridge pickup is inspired by the pickups found in blues guitar legend Sean Costello's legendary 1954 Les Paul Goldtop!
The Lollar 50s Wind P-90 bridge pickup is inspired by the pickups found in blues guitar legend Sean Costello's legendary 1954 Les Paul Goldtop. The 50s Wind P-90 is a meticulous tribute based on Jason's careful reverse engineering of Sean's original bridge pickup. This pickup uses lower output magnets specifically degaussed for a bright, percussive sound with plenty of cutting power.
Unlike Lollar's standard P-90, the 50s Wind P-90 emphasizes the highs more and has much less of the typical P-90 midrange "grind". Ideal for guitarists aiming for a clear and sparkling P-90 sound, inspired by Sean and the blues giants of the 50s and 60s, such as Freddie King and Hubert Sumlin!
