Eastman E40OO Adirondack Madagascar Rosewood Sunburst
In terms of build quality and sound, this little Eastman, inspired by the Martin OO, can easily compete with even the best handmade boutique instruments out there!
This Eastman E40 OO combines beautiful Madagascar rosewood back and sides with an Adirondack top and beautiful abalone inlays on the top, around the sound hole and on the headstock. The 'crown' of the guitar looks classic due to the 'Torch' inlay on the slotted headstock. Thanks to the fully solid construction, this instrument has a powerful, but beautifully balanced and round voice.
Eastman provides the top with their 'Thermo Cured' treatment. This ensures that the wood is exposed to heat and pressure, so that it has already lost a large part of its moisture to this process. The result is a guitar with a played-in character, with the sound qualities of an older vintage instrument.
This elegant and versatile 00 is a great porch picker, but will not let you down on large stages either. Small body, but a big sound! The versatility of possible playing styles is also promoted by the comfortable playability of the mahogany neck with a 'traditional even C' profile and 12 inch ebony fingerboard. This Eastman has an ergonomically shaped thinner body, where the combination of smaller shoulders and larger hips guarantees a lot of playing comfort.
Travels in an Eastman case with TFOA passport and certificate of authenticity.
