Bourgeois Touchstone OM C Soloist
The name Bourgeois stands for absolute top quality, and due to the exceptional craftsmanship of Bourgeois, these guitars are more than worthy of this name on the headstock!
The Touchstone series is the product of a collaboration between boutique guitar builder Dana Bourgeois and Eastman. Bourgeois ships the pre-voiced tops from America, after which the guitars are finished in China by a select group of Eastman luthiers trained by Bourgeois. The guitars then return to Lewiston, Maine, for a final inspection, voicing, and setup.
The guitars in the Touchstone series are constructed using the highest quality materials, selected by Bourgeois and sourced through Eastman's extensive reach. This allows Bourgeois to access a wide range of tonewoods and select the highest quality materials.
The Soloist is the result of a collaboration between Dana Bourgeois and guitarist Eric Schoenberg, who desired a cutaway OM for his guitar playing. This legendary model is now also available as part of the Touchstone series. The Soloist features a hand-voiced Lutz spruce top paired with an ebony back and sides.
This creates a tonal blend of warmth, clarity, and dynamic headroom. This wood combination produces rich overtones, long sustain, and a clear, articulate bass response—perfect for expressive fingerstyle playing or subtle rhythm work that supports vocals without overpowering them. The guitar comes with a TFOA passport and a hardshell case.
