Bourgeois Soloist OM C Italian Spruce Macassar Ebony
At Bourgeois, you get the very best wood, the most beautiful styling, and the highest build quality. This OM with cutaway is therefore an instrument of exceptional quality!
Dana Bourgeois founded Bourgeois Guitars in Lewiston, Maine, in the United States, in 1992. In the preceding years, he gained experience as a restorer, repairer, and luthier. In this latter role, Bourgeois began a collaboration with guitarist Eric Schoenberg in the 1980s, which ultimately led to the creation of the Soloist model. This model also provided the impetus for Martin to reintroduce the OM model to its catalog.
Belonging to the Legacy series, this Soloist is part of a collection of models with a strong sense of style, yet with a traditional design. This modern classic features a Macassar ebony back and sides with a captivatingly beautiful grain, complemented by an Italian spruce top. Thanks to Bourgeois's exceptional craftsmanship, this stunning combination of woods sounds like nothing else.
This Bourgeois also features ebony binding and a detailed wooden rosette, and the ebony fingerboard features a subtle abalone inlay. The attention to detail in this beautiful guitar further emphasizes the high standard with which the small team at Bourgeois produces approximately 400 guitars annually. The guitar comes with a TFOA passport and comes in a hardshell case.
