Bourgeois JRA Rosewood Spruce 1999

Dana Bourgeois built this JRA in 1999, when his workshop in Maine was already running at full speed and he had already made a name for himself with his exceptional craftsmanship! The combination of a jumbo body with rosewood and spruce delivers a powerful, balanced tone that handles both fingerstyle and strong flatpicking effortlessly.

The unique body shape offers a wonderful combination of volume and definition; the guitar has the projection and bass of a jumbo while maintaining the focus and clarity you would expect from a smaller model!

This JRA features a solid spruce top with scalloped X-bracing, providing maximum resonance and an open, dynamic sound. The solid rosewood back and sides add warmth and depth, with a rich bass foundation and clear, articulated highs. The mahogany neck has a comfortable soft V profile that feels great in the hand, while the ebony fingerboard with a 16" radius ensures smooth playability across the entire neck!

This 1999 Bourgeois is remarkably clean for its age and in excellent condition. It has only minimal signs of play, mainly on the body and pickguard. Comes with a case and TFOA certificate.
