The left-handed Essential D offers that 100% Atkin tone; stripped down to the bare essentials! Each Essential D has a Sitka spruce top and is reinforced with pre-war scalloped bracing, all of which is 'baked' in Atkin's workshop.

Mahogany back and sides are complemented by a lightweight mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard; just like some of the best Pre-War guitars. This is a tried and tested combination, extremely popular with songwriters, and a workhorse that never gets old!
