Atkin Guitars was founded in 1995 in Canterbury, England. Alister Atkin began as a one-man store, initially building only a few handmade guitars a year. Due to the great success of their instruments, the company grew to seven employees, but the guitars always remained handmade.

This 00 model is part of Atkin's Essential Series. Guitars in this series all have a Baked Sitka spruce top, mahogany soundboard and ebony fingerboard and bridge. These guitars contain all the essential elements a guitar needs, delivering the signature Atkin sound 100%!

With its smaller body shape than an OM and shorter scale, the 00 is a comfortable guitar to play. Despite its compact size, the baked spruce top with special bracing offers a rich sound with plenty of bass.
